Our First Facebook Chat: Ask Nate Silver Almost Anything

Way, way back in January 2013, after a long and busy 2012 election season, FiveThirtyEight founder Nate Silver took questions in the social news site Reddit’s “Ask Me Anything” section.

Well, we can cross that question off the list. But if you have others, Nate will be hosting a chat on our Facebook page Thursday at 1 p.m. EDT.

About an hour before the chat, we’ll open a comment thread to questions. Anything’s game, but we’re especially interested in chatting about our World Cup prediction model, the 2014 midterm elections, the coming NFL and college football seasons, and, yes, tortillas filled with meat, beans, guacamole, crema … you get the idea. Note: You must have a Facebook account to post a question, and we will not be taking questions in the comments below.

Carla Correa was previously a general editor and the social media coordinator for FiveThirtyEight.
