Not everyone was pleased with Nate Silver’s Acts of Mild Subversion column about “hidden-city ticketing,” a trick to save money on airfares. In fact, several readers — who saw the tactic as tantamount to lying — sought out the views of The Times’s resident ethicist, Ariel Kaminer. So Ms. Kaminer, over at the The 6th Floor blog, asked Nate to comment on the ethical underpinnings of “hidden-city ticketing.”
