Steven Soderbergh had a busy 2014. His TV series “The Knick” debuted on Cinemax, and he directed a play, “The Library,” at the Public Theater in New York. Between all of that, however, he somehow managed to watch 122 movies and 214 TV episodes, read 35 books and see 17 plays (most of which were his own), and even find time for a roller derby and a few concerts. He chronicled all of his media consumption in 2014 on Extension 765, the “marketplace” website he started in 2013.
