Sarah, everything is split. The special election results so far show Republicans over-performing in some races and Democrats over-performing in others, with no clear advantage. The generic ballot polling has pulled even, with both Democrats and Republicans getting about 44 percent support. AND our forecast even shows the likeliest outcome is split control between the House and Senate. The bet is that these indicators will increasingly favor Republicans over the next three months. That’s what history suggests will happen, but right now: tie game!
