What Went Down During The Vice Presidential Debate
Harris pivoting to health care is probably the best territory to pivot to out of the economy. That’s where the Trump administration probably still stands on the strongest ground, though, given everything, it’s not particularly strong ground.
The Affordable Care Act has grown more popular since Trump was elected. In the latest Kaiser Family Foundation tracking poll from late August and early September, 49 percent of Americans had a favorable opinion of the Affordable Care Act, compared to 42 percent who had an unfavorable opinion.
Since the announcement of Harris as Biden’s running mate, several pollsters have asked Americans about their opinion of her. Most pollsters show her favorability rating slightly more positive than negative.
