What Went Down During The Vice Presidential Debate
Thinking about all the memes that will come from the facial expressions the candidates are making while their opponent is talking. The split screen is doing a lot of the storytelling tonight.
It’s worth remembering that for the past few months, Republicans and Democrats have essentially been living in different economic realities — at least, in terms of how they think the economy is doing. A Civiqs poll conducted at the end of September found that 80 percent of Republicans thought the economy was in at least fairly good shape, compared to only 8 percent of Democrats.
