What Went Down During The Vice Presidential Debate
After news broke that Trump had been diagnosed with COVID-19, Morning Consult/Politico asked voters if they trusted the Trump administration to be honest about his health. Fifty-five percent of voters said they didn’t trust Trump to be honest, while 41 percent did (a 14-point difference). Meanwhile, 48 percent said they didn’t trust Pence to be honest about the president’s health, while 43 percent trusted him (a 5-point difference).
Biden kind of whiffed the opportunity to home in on the revelations about Trump’s tax returns at the last debate. Harris seems pretty intent on hammering that news — particularly the $750 payment — this time.
So COVID-19, now Trump’s tax situation. Great start subject-wise for the Trump campaign.
