I continue to think that Democrats are actually walking a really dangerous line with the vaccine talk. Doctors and Fauci could approve the vaccine AND Trump could go around telling people to take it. So…what then?

Are the VP candidates prepared to take the top job? In a mid-August poll from ABC News/The Washington Post, Americans were asked whether, if something were to happen to the president, Pence or Harris would be qualified to become president. For both VP candidates, just over half (54 percent) of Americans said the VP would be qualified to take over.

An Ipsos/ABC News poll last month found that 69 percent of Americans don’t have confidence in Trump’s assurances that a coronavirus vaccine would be effective; only 27 percent placed a “great deal” or “good amount” of confidence in the president.
