In an Ipsos/ABC News poll taken Friday and Saturday, after Trump’s COVID-19 diagnosis, 72 percent of Americans said that Trump had not taken the risk of contracting the disease seriously enough, while 27 percent disagreed. In the same poll, 72 percent of Americans said Trump had not taken appropriate precautions when it came to his personal health.

Nate, I think I’m with Clare on this. Reminding people of those panicky months in March and April seems like a reasonable retrospective move.

I don’t know, Nate. There is a lot of power in drawing attention back to the panic and pain that people (not Trump) felt and are still feeling. Right? Also, it points out how long the pandemic has been going on.
