Castor’s questions now are aimed at establishing that the president was in fact concerned about corruption in Ukraine. Vindman sort of elides the question, saying corruption is a problem in Ukraine and fighting it is U.S. government policy.

Recall that in the Democratic round of questioning, Vindman said he included corruption in the president’s talking points for the April call with Zelensky. The president did not raise corruption in that call.
