What Went Down On Day 3 Of The Trump Impeachment Hearings

MaryAlice, the RNC is circulating a Washington Examiner story pointing out “gaps in Vindman’s knowledge” and calling him “a creature of a bureaucracy that has often opposed President Trump.” Their basic argument seems to be that Vindman opposed Trump’s policy.

Question for you, Rick: Has the RNC provided any evidence for its claim that Vindman isn’t credible?

Vindman and Hill have both testified that in two separate instances on July 10, Sondland pressed the Ukrainians for investigations. Notably, Volker was present for at least one of these episodes, but his description of the meeting was very different. Goldman pointedly asked Vindman about whether Volker was there, so it seems likely that Volker will be pressed about his account of the meeting this afternoon.
