Vindman just completely rejected the GOP argument that somehow Ukraine improperly interfered in the 2016 election to help Clinton and hurt Trump. He is being much less cautious than Williams in his testimony.

Vindman says that the word “Burisma” being left out of the transcript “was not a significant omission” — the people putting together the transcript might have just missed the word. The issue, though, is that it was his job to fix the transcript and catch omissions, and after he flagged the omission, the correction still wasn’t made.

Goldman, Democrats’ attorney, is establishing that the part of the call where Trump asks about “doing us a favor” was not part of the official talking points that Trump was given to guide the call.
