I actually think that’s good for Republicans, as it confirms that a discussion of corruption wasn’t redacted from the call summary (which is not actually a transcript, even though that’s what everyone’s calling it). If it had been, that might’ve raised concerns about the completeness of the summary of the more inflammatory July 25 call.

Vindman says that Trump did not bring up the issue of corruption in the first Zelensky call, on April 21. That agrees with the detailed call summary the White House released last week but disagrees with the shorter summary the White House released at the time of the call.
