Yovanovitch puts Giuliani at the center for why she was fired from her post. “I do not understand Mr. Giuliani’s motives for attacking me, nor can I offer an opinion on whether he believed the allegations he spread about me.” In terms of the discussions we’ve had about whether she’ll be thought of as having bipartisan credibility, I can’t help but think Republicans will use this to show she has grievances against Giuliani and Trump.

Yovanovitch is going a long way here to pre-empt Republican conspiracy theories she expects to be asked about.
