I wonder if Democrats have hurt themselves by focusing so much on Ukraine foreign policy and the effect of withholding aid and support to the ally. Yes, those are witnesses they had, but are they leaving basic questions on the table about what the president stood to gain or why the U.S. government normally does not want foreign governments investigating U.S. citizens?
