I think that’s right, Galen. One of the challenges today will be to make voters feel like Trump and Giuliani’s behavior is a real threat to American security. If say, the whistleblower has been writing “I love Obama and I love Hillary even more,” on his Facebook page every day since 2014 and that becomes public, that would be a big news story. But I’m assuming that is not the case — that whatever his/her alleged loyalties ties to the Democrats, they are not that direct. I assume by the end of this process, lots of people will know who the whistleblower is. But I feel like that matters way less now that several people who work in the government will have described the Ukraine scheme in great detail, some of them on television.
