I think at the very least what that argument has going for it is that it’s building on a three-year-long theme. The first impeachment argument, based on the emoluments clause, began the day the president was sworn in.

Question for the group: Nunes, and Republicans, clearly think that connecting Ukraine to the Russia investigation, and making it all seem like one big effort to get rid of Trump is a good strategy. So, a couple questions: Is it? And a good strategy for what? For keeping Republican voters in line? For preventing swing voters from supporting impeachment?

I guess I don’t really think it works for anything beyond the GOP base.

Nunes is attacking the investigation much more than defending Trump’s actions, which is not surprising. And Hunter Biden is going to basically be on trial it seems, as it is the whistleblower.
