What Went Down On Super Tuesday

As Biden talks about how the press counted him out, I’ll take a chance to plug an interesting book about the importance of “underdog” ideology in the Democratic Party.

This is the peppiest I’ve seen Biden…ever in this campaign.

Biden’s campaign is obviously timing this speech for prime time in much of the country, but it’s also before we get the Texas or — especially — early California results. Sanders could win Texas, plus he came into tonight pretty heavily favored in California. Biden is trying to seal the narrative spin that this is a great night for him. That is true so far, but it would certainly be a silver lining for Sanders — and maybe more than that — if he could win the two biggest states in the country.
