What Went Down On Super Tuesday
One of the races I’m very interested in isn’t the presidential race — the GOP primary for Senate in Alabama is also going on! But we have basically no votes in Alabama even though polls closed there almost an hour and a half ago.
For people wondering if Bloomberg is poised to drop out, he just spent $7 million on ad slots in post-Super Tuesday states. Of course, $7 million is chump change to a billionaire like Bloomberg, but still, maybe a it’s signal that he’s planning to stick around for a little longer, despite his dismal showing so far tonight.
And there are fewer precincts (16 percent) reporting in Vermont, but right now Sanders has 50 percent, Biden has 24 percent, Bloomberg has 10 percent and Warren has 10 percent. If that holds, Sanders would have to share delegates with Biden and would miss out on the chance to sweep.
