What Went Down On Super Tuesday

For folks who are interested in where the candidates are tonight: Warren is in Detroit (where voters will go to the polls next week); Bloomberg is in West Palm Beach; Sanders is in Vermont; and Biden is in Los Angeles — where there’s actually enough sun to justify wearing those aviators.

Warren is giving a “vote your conscience” speech here! She’s basically making an argument against “electability” primary voters who think a liberal woman can’t win. “Cast a vote that makes you proud,” she says to the Michigan crowd.

Yeah, according to our forecast, Massachusetts was the only place Warren had a chance to win tonight. But this move kinda makes sense; whether she wins any states tonight is kind of irrelevant for her strategy to win the nomination at a contested convention.
