It interests me that the Super Bowl is still hovering near a high in terms of viewership, but overall NFL viewership has gone down in recent years. I’m guessing it’s the focal point nature of this event (plus maybe showmanship, the halftime show, commercials and it being an excuse for a party) that is keeping it steadier, but curious what others think. Or maybe the drop in NFL regular season viewership and the small slide in the last few years of Super Bowl viewership isn’t as different as I think it is.
