According to ESPN Stats & Info, the Chiefs’ eight penalties were tied for the third-most in the first half of a playoff game since 2001.

Here’s something to monitor: When trailing since 2018, Travis Kelce has averaged 76.25 receiving yards in the second half, while Tyreek Hill has averaged 64.25, according to BetPrep. So if history is any indication, Mahomes is going to have a very big second half, win or lose.
