People picking the Niners have overweighted defense and the running game, and using points scored to argue for the Niners over the Chiefs seems strained since Mahomes missed games earlier this season. But perhaps the best argument that the Chiefs are a better offense is that I very much doubt SF wants this to become a points race. The lower scoring the game, the more the Niners’ chances improve.
