Mitch McConnell wasn’t interested in passing infrastructure legislation in 2017 and 2018 — and I’m sure he is not interested now. Oh, how many articles were written about infrastructure being a potential issue to unify the parties in 2017 and 2018. I wrote some of them myself. I won’t make that mistake again.
