Bypassing Congress To Build The Border Wall Is An Unpopular Idea
Trump spoke about sending troops to the border to prepare for what he calls a “tremendous onslaught” and spoke about what he called the “lawless state of our Southern border.” He has referred to the situation more than once as a “crisis” and declared that he will get the wall built. Is he setting the stage for declaring a national emergency and bypassing Congress to fund the border wall if Congress doesn’t come to an agreement? If so, it would be very unpopular.
