Now this is starting to sound a lot like the two speeches Trump gave during the shutdown, which did not move the needle at all. I dunno [baseball metaphor warning], at first it looked like he might be mixing in a change-up but now this is pretty much the same repertoire of pitches that has him with a 5-14 record and a 5.88 ERA so far on the season.
