What Went Down On Night Two Of The Second Democratic Debate
I think what’s interesting about this debate is that Harris is much more the focus of attacks from others. It’s because she’s a real top-tier candidate now. But I think her tone is quite different from the first debate. She’s lobbing sharper attacks, sharper parries. She had a lot more “let me tell you about this regular person I met” last time around.
Good for Bennet to focus on the deep school segregation we have now. I will be curious if he, unlike Biden and Harris, actually has a school integration plan.
The Democratic Party’s stance has shifted on criminal justice and the death penalty over the last 20 or so years. It’s a really interesting case study in party change.
