What Went Down On Night Two Of The Second Democratic Debate

Gabbard has been attacking Harris for weeks now. I don’t know why she has decided to take on a non-front-runner, but Gabbard was ready to unload on Harris.

This Gabbard attack on Harris for her prosecutorial record is quite sharp. Harris spends her answer using a talking point that she drops a lot — how large her California department was when she was attorney general. Essentially, pivoting to show she has executive experience.

It seems unlikely to me that the VP is someone competing for the nomination, though it’s not entirely clear who that excludes at this point.
