If we’re being literal, given that Republicans are likely to control the Senate, then the Green Deal is unrealistic and so is Delaney’s plan. Support for the Green New Deal, like Medicare-for-all, is not really a policy debate but a proxy of bold ideas (Warren, Sanders) vs. the moderates (Hickenlooper, Ryan, Klobuchar, Bullock, Delaney).

I wonder if the media will decide that the moderates vs. liberals argument was settled by Warren’s dunk on Delaney instead of the much more even and complicated debate over health care.

Warren says she put a “real policy” on the table to create green industrial jobs and says others on stage just use GOP talking points. Actually a pretty searing take, and also implicitly criticizes other Democrats for their lack of plans while she has dominated the “policy primary.”
