What Went Down On Night One Of The Second Democratic Debate
It looks like the moderators are now asking if the candidates will back away from another popular liberal stance: decriminalizing the border. Warren stood by that stance, Pete kind of did. Will the moderates attack this too?
Sanders passes Warren in words spoken — she’s now in third, with Delaney in second.

“The question is, why do we have to be so extreme,” Delaney says. Wow. Joe Biden must want to send him a thank-you card. Delaney, in my view, really dominated Sanders and Warren in the last 20 minutes on health care. He attacked Medicare for All in a way that I don’t think Biden could have done on stage.
