What Went Down In Robert Mueller’s Testimony

Nathaniel, a McLaughlin poll showing Curbelo leading by 3 probably means he was actually down quite a bit in that Florida race. They’re one of those pollsters that REALLY presents a rose-colored version of reality to their clients.

Yeah, Nate, it was kind of interesting that Mueller didn’t say that. Maybe grist for the mill on the theory that Mueller was intimating that Congress should begin impeachment proceedings when he laid the responsibility at their doorstep.

Rick, I guess I think it’s pretty risky for both sides to ask impeachment questions because it’s not clear how either side would get the answers they’d like. On the GOP side, Mike Johnson didn’t get the answer he was looking for, for instance — I assume he was hoping that Mueller would confirm the idea that the report hadn’t made a recommendation to impeach instead of sidestepping the question.
