What Went Down In Robert Mueller’s Testimony

The idea that Mueller’s team was biased against him is something Trump has repeatedly dwelled on — the “12 Angry Democrats.” So presumably that line of questioning from Armstrong is one Trump will like.

That is particularly ironic, Laura, because the Republican House was only too happy to investigate the Obama administration and Hillary Clinton!

Rep. Armstrong has returned to the tactic of pointing out that some of Mueller’s associates have ties to Democrats. Mueller clearly doesn’t appreciate this line of questioning. Armstrong seems to be suggesting that only Republicans are credible investigators of a Republican president — though of course that hasn’t stopped them from going after Comey and Mueller himself.
