What Went Down In Robert Mueller’s Testimony

Another fun fact: Ratcliffe — who questioned Mueller earlier and ended his questioning by saying, “Donald Trump is not above the law, but he damn sure shouldn’t be below the law” — was reportedly floated as a replacement for Jeff Sessions as attorney general.

Cohen seems to be interested in then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions’s decision to recuse himself from the Russia investigation and the fact that Trump tried to get Sessions to “unrecuse” himself. Presumably this is an obstruction-driven line of questioning.

Fun fact: Steve Cohen is the only white person in Congress who represents a majority-black district (the Tennessee 9th, around Memphis).
