What Went Down In Robert Mueller’s Testimony

I was surprised to see a Republican ask Mueller if he thought something impeachable had been committed. I was not surprised by Mueller’s answer: “Our mandate does not go to other ways of addressing conduct.”

The contrast between the questioners, who are trying to go fast and pack a lot of information and invective into their five minutes, and Mueller’s slow, careful responses — which often include asking for repetition or clarification — is quite jarring.
