I find it funny how many people use up part of their limited time saying, “My time is limited, so …”

The idea that criminal obstruction of justice could happen even in the absence of other criminal activity was an important part of the report, which is why Sheila Jackson Lee is focusing on it.

Republicans seem to be scrambling the order in which they ask questions, whereas Democrats are going in order of seniority — which I’m pretty sure is a mistake on Dems’ behalf because there’s no particular correlation between seniority and how effective a member’s questions are. If anything, the reverse is true, in fact: The younger/newer members are usually a little sharper.
