What Went Down In Robert Mueller’s Testimony
Republicans seem to be scrambling the order in which they ask questions, whereas Democrats are going in order of seniority — which I’m pretty sure is a mistake on Dems’ behalf because there’s no particular correlation between seniority and how effective a member’s questions are. If anything, the reverse is true, in fact: The younger/newer members are usually a little sharper.
And Geoff, it might have been a shout-out to the “audience of one” who is now in executive time.
If Mueller continues to direct questions back “to the report” without providing more context, I’m wondering how much of an impact today’s testimony will have on the public’s opinion of the report’s findings. It seems like any big moments will come from any slipups or nonanswers from Mueller (or from those asking the questions).
