What Went Down During President Trump’s Closing Speech At The RNC

I’m becoming a bit of a broken record, but when Trump talks about Biden and the Democrats, he still sounds like a challenger. He’s referring to Biden as the destroyer of America’s jobs. I did a quick search, and Obama mentioned Romney once in his 2012 acceptance speech, and made one negative reference to the Republican convention. Bush mentioned Kerry once in his 2004 speech. But maybe striking a challenger-like tone will work for Trump, since there’s been a fair amount of focus on the nation’s problems at this convention.

Of course, Trump himself has repeatedly been accused of sexual assault.

Trump paused for a long time after that, waiting for the crowd to give a reaction.
