What Went Down During President Trump’s Closing Speech At The RNC

Ivanka Trump has reinforced the theme that her father is not a conventional politician. And in a key way, she’s right: This convention has advanced a set of arguments that seem a bit contradictory at times. In one moment, the RNC has argued that disorder and crime are rampant in U.S. cities, and in another moment they argue that Trump isn’t responsible for it.
