What Went Down During President Trump’s Closing Speech At The RNC

Here comes Trump.

I had forgot about the Ivanka voter, Sarah! Yes, I think this is a good question. Amelia and I have been discussing whether or not some of these women might regret their vote in 2016. Something we hope to write about more ahead of November.

There have been a couple interesting moments during the RNC — one just happened — in which a Trump surrogate sorta distanced Trump from the Republican Party. (Ivanka Trump said that many of the issues she has championed have not traditionally been GOP priorities, but “where Washington chooses sides, our president chooses common sense.”

It would be pretty fascinating, if Trump is still trailing Biden by high single digits in October, to see which happens first: Republicans turn on Trump or Trump turns on Republicans.
