To follow on Chris’s point, Ivanka is very good at this. But she’s also arguing that her father shut the economy down in the spring in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and that’s just not true. The shutdowns were implemented on a state-by-state basis, and were sometimes undermined by the president.
