What Went Down During President Trump’s Closing Speech At The RNC

Last week, Biden had very popular advocates in the Obamas. According to Morning Consult, about 60 percent of Americans approve of both Barack and Michelle. Tonight, Ivanka is an advocate for her father, but she is much less popular in Americans’ eyes. Her approval clocks in at only 36 percent.

Trump says of her father, “I know that his tweets can feel a bit unfiltered, but the results speak for themselves.” This is the same sentiment echoed by a lot of Trump’s supporters.

Yeah, Seth, it’s pretty unbelievable to see this speech being given from the White House lawn. Trump didn’t want to have to move the convention from its original location or go virtual — but even if he couldn’t have the huge crowds, this is definitely one of the most dramatic backdrops you could ask for.
