Trump continues to make the case that he’s been treated unfairly by the media, but most journalists feel their job is to hold power to account, not to puff up politicians, I think a lot of former presidents would say no if you asked them if they think the media was “nice” to them.

That’s right, Amelia, and it’s worth noting that while he has pardoned some less-popular figures such as former Arizona Maricopa County Sheriff Jeff Arpaio, Trump has also pardoned more traditional, everyday Americans and issued symbolic pardons like that of Jack Johnson, a black heavyweight champion boxer who in 1913 was convicted by an all-white jury for traveling with his white girlfriend.
