That’s right, Amelia, and it’s worth noting that while he has pardoned some less-popular figures such as former Arizona Maricopa County Sheriff Jeff Arpaio, Trump has also pardoned more traditional, everyday Americans and issued symbolic pardons like that of Jack Johnson, a black heavyweight champion boxer who in 1913 was convicted by an all-white jury for traveling with his white girlfriend.
This video just pointed out that 92 percent of media stories about Trump have been negative. You’d think that’s not the kind of thing you’d want to advertise! But, of course, it’s part of Trump’s argument that he has been unfairly persecuted by the media.
