Trump hasn’t granted clemency to very many people so far. He’s pardoned 27 people and commuted 11 people’s sentences (including that of his former adviser, Roger Stone, who was convicted as part of the Mueller investigation). In fairness, though, presidents have increasingly used their clemency power on their way out of the White House.

I agree with that, Galen. Should Trump be defeated this year, the front-runner Republican for 2024 is most likely either him or someone who has worked hard to sound like him.
