What Went Down During President Trump’s Closing Speech At The RNC

I wonder if this speech was written before seeing the DNC, which heavily featured everyday Americans. That’s not unique to this convention.

Although, to be fair, if Republicans are selling Trump as “not mean,” Democrats also did a lot of selling Biden as simply “a decent guy.”

I wonder if the “converts” trope backfires at all by revealing that the differences between the parties aren’t necessarily as stark as partisans would claim?
