There’s a noticeable lack of social distancing and mask-wearing at the White House grounds. And it might sound a bit prudish to say, “What sort of example will this set for Americans?” but if this sets a bad example and people do less social distancing as a result, that could make another COVID-19 spike more likely by November, which, among other things, wouldn’t be good for Trump’s reelection chances.

That was kind of odd — the video of McCarthy had a “paid for by Kevin McCarthy for Congress” banner at the bottom. So was that a campaign ad for the House minority leader during the Republican National Convention?
