Kellyanne Conway talks a lot about “security moms,” so my thought is the women talking about Democrats letting cities fall apart in anarchy is a way to reach out to them.

My instinct is that the way to win voters is less to target them as women and more to target the big issues — the economy, COVID-19, policing– on everyone’s minds.

Micah, we know that support for Trump among women has been eroding since 2016, when a majority of white women voted for Trump, but only a small minority of women of color voted for him. I think they’re trying to send a message to white women voters that the GOP represents them, cares about families, and that there’s still a place for them in this party.
