What Went Down On Night 3 Of The RNC

We’ve all noted the absence so far of any mention of what is happening in Kenosha, Wisconsin, right now, and it’s unclear given the number of pre-recorded events tonight how the RNC will address it, but here is the statement the White House issued earlier today:

But Dan, there were some not-so-subtle mentions to the protests and supporting police officers. Calling police officers “heroes” and saying the way forward is to rebuild communities and “not destroy them” is a dig at those who have vandalized property during protests.

One part of conventions is to showcase a party’s talent, and Dan Crenshaw is definitely thought of as a next-generation GOP leader. He kept it positive, focusing on heroes.
