If you (like me) were wondering what was on Eric Trump’s flag pin, it appears to be a tiny gold seal of the United States.

“My father will fight for you,” Eric says multiple times in his speech. It’s not necessarily painting Trump as more empathetic, but it is, I think, an effective rhetorical device in portraying Trump as a fighter and strong leader.

Eric Trump also says Biden has pledged to defund the police. But that’s not true either.
