What Went Down On Night 2 Of The RNC

Sentiment toward Trump has been more favorable on Twitter in the last few minutes, with the naturalization segment, than it has been all night:

It seems clear that the RNC interviewed these (note: extremely accomplished, impressive) individuals. Why not record and play those interviews instead of having Trump quote them?

What’s particularly striking here, though, is how delayed the naturalization process has been across the U.S. in response to the pandemic. A lot of attention is focused on undocumented immigrants in the U.S., but there have also been a number of steps to make legal immigration more difficult.
